M-105.3P XYZ Fiber Positioning System

The M-105.3P Fiber Positioning System is an ideal solution fiber/optical device alignment where reliability, flexibility and cost efficiency are top priorities.

It can be operated manually (both the micrometer and the piezo) or semiautomatically, where a coarse "operating" position can be set with the micrometers and a scanning or tracking process (sub-nm resolution) is started from that position.

M-105.3P is based on the M-105.30 XYZ Translation Stage and the P-854 PiezoMike.

The advantage of the piezoelectric fine adjustment is based on the extremely high resolution, responsiveness and electrical controllability. If used with an external power meter and control software, the M-105.3P can be used as stabilization system for maximum optical power or as a scanner with a range of 30 x 30 x 30 µm.

The M-105.3P is also available without PiezoMikes (M-105.30). Each axis can be upgraded with the P-854.00 PiezoMike at a later date.

The E-663 Piezo Amplifier is recommended as piezo controller. It comes with an analog high speed interface (0 to 10 V). For control with a digital interface, please contact PI.
