The P-725 is a long range-travel
addition to PI's PIFOC®
family
of microscope objective nano-focussing
devices. P-725 PIFOC®s replace the P-722 and P-723 PIFOC® models.
Despite the
increased travel ranges (up to
500 µm) the units are 20 %
shorter than the P-721 series, while providing
sub-nanometer resolution. The
long travel range is achieved
with a newly designed, friction-
free and extremely stiff
flexure system which also
offers high guiding accuracy
and rapid settling.
