The protection mechanisms of the NT operating system don't allow direct hardware access and therefore impede direct programming of ISA bus cards such as the C-842 motor controller. PI now offers a new system driver for Windows NT™. After installation in the operating system the driver allows operation of the board via the included DLLs. For LabView™ programmers, new NT drivers (VIs) are available, too. They allow access to all commands and functions of the C-842 motor controller.
