At all PI locations, a structured onboarding process tailored exactly to your position will accompany you when you start as a new team member. Because: To fully develop your potential at all levels, you should feel at home in your new working environment, both personally and professionally. Onboarding at PI starts with detailed information on the workplace, the definition of job requirements, and matching expectations – these three steps form the basis of the jointly defined and clearly structured induction plan.

This induction plan covers two things: First of all, getting to know PI, your location, your department, and your team of colleagues. On the other hand, the specialist area with on-the-job training through successive assumption of tasks and responsibility as well as off-the-job training with theoretical and practical units.

Your arrival and induction phase is accompanied by mid- and end-of-term interviews with your supervisor and your HR contact. It is important to us that you feel well looked after, especially in the initial phase, and that you know who to turn to. For this purpose, PI will provide you with a mentor who will not only ensure that you become familiar with your new job, but will also put you in contact with colleagues and support you in building up your network.

We also offer you an internal training program to familiarize you with your new field of responsibility. Internal training is conducted by our employees as well as external experts and takes place throughout the year with regularly recurring dates.

We support you with our mentor program in your successful induction into the company. Two performance reviews in the middle and at the end of the probationary period round off your well-structured and consistently accompanied induction phase. Our performance reviews with a focus on your own personal development and the target agreements according to a uniform system will help you advance professionally and personally.

Executive Staff

Continuous further training of executive staff has always been a particular concern of ours. This is why we have designed a PI development program for executive staff that works across locations and departments, with the objective that you bring your preferences, expectations, specific topics, and challenges into the training. In various modules, you as a member of the executive staff will be informed on important topics of leadership and will be provided with tools that you can test and apply in your daily work with us, so that practical recommendations for action can be developed from them, which will be sustainably anchored in daily business. The modules in the development program for members of the executive staff take place at intervals of three to four months as attendance units over a total period of approx. 1.5 years.

As far as I’m concerned, communication has always been the most important aspect of leadership. In addition to practical training modules, the development program for executive staff gave me the opportunity to exchange information on relevant topics with colleagues from different departments and locations, and to discuss them together

Building the program up over a longer period of time enabled me to incorporate both the methods I had learned and also put additional suggestions into practice steadily as well as develop them further for my area of responsibility

I am invited for an interview – how will it take place?

Should a face-to-face meeting in the company not be feasible due to COVID-19, we will contact and inform you in time how the interview can take place, e.g., as an interview via Skype.
