CNC Programmer | Day Shift | $3,000 bonus
Role Overview
We have an immediate opening for a CNC Programmer to work in our advanced manufacturing precision machine shop based in our Shrewsbury, MA location. This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. This position will be responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture parts to tight tolerances.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Perform in-process inspections and final checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.).
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam software (mill, lathe, or multi-axis as required).
- Simulate toolpaths and validate programs prior to machine execution.
- Modify existing programs to improve cycle time and surface finish or to accommodate engineering changes.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop efficient machining strategies.
- Maintain machines, tools, and workspaces in a clean and safe working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machines and tooling.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Experience: 3+ year of experience in CNC Machining and Mastercam programming
- Apprentice or technical schooling for precision machining (CNC or Manual)
- Proven experience with HAAS CNC equipment (VF, ST, series, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, feeds, speeds, and tooling
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and related work instructions
- Understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing)
- Experience working with rigorous tight tolerances and minute measurements
- Experience with various materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless, and plastics
- Ability to work self-sufficiently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts.

The pay range for this position is $35 - $50 per hour. Compensation is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
