Update on IT Security Incident Affecting PI Website

As soon as we became aware of the incident, measures were taken to secure the systems. Neither PI's internal IT systems nor its other IT systems are affected. The relevant data protection supervisory authority was notified of the incident within the required deadline.

The incident affects business contact details of people who have used the contact form on our website. These include names, company names, email addresses, telephone numbers and addresses.

We cannot rule out that this information has been exfiltrated and may be used for targeted fraud attempts. Examples could include fake emails or calls in the name of PI, altered invoices, or notifications claiming that bank details have changed. Other communication that appear particularly credible because the sender knows about existing business relationships are also possible.
